When I saw Illustration Friday's word for the week, "space," I thought of a landscape with white space in the middle. I enjoyed drawing these simple leaf, tree, flower, and cloud shapes. I like the colors and the white space to imagine more of the scene.

About My Drawings and My Blog
Most of the time, I do a line drawing, then color it with markers. For more on my drawing process, see "How I Draw," and also "Anybody Can Draw."
I use Copic markers (mostly "original" with a few "sketch" type), Copic multiliner pens, and the Copic airbrush (airbrushing with my markers). See "About My Tools and Materials" for my Copic colors and other tools, materials, supplies and sources. Techniques and materials may also be noted in the blog post.
The date on each post is the approximate date of the drawing, not always the posting date. Reference posts like "How I Draw" are filed together as 1973, but are much newer.
See "Blog Help" if you have problems with viewing or printing.
