- 11/28 We are leaving ordinary time (My calendar each year starts with these words which point out the wonder of the Advent time, looking forward to Christmas and the birth of Jesus. And in the church year, our long season of "ordinary time" - the summer and fall weeks after Pentecost - has now ended.)
- 11/29-12/4 Savior of the nations, come! Virgin's Son, make here your home! Marvel now, both heaven and earth, that the Lord chose such a birth. (hymn) (My calendar drawings had a late start this year, and I used the 6-day blank space for a long vine and the first verse of a favorite Advent hymn.)
